Keith at Minority of One skewers National Post columnist Bruce Garvey for his junk science front page article in the National Post

The tard Garvey, God bless him, was either drunk when he wrote it or, well he's just a tard.

Try this: And when a Richter-level 9.0 earthquake hits with such force that it rocks Earth on its axis - literally wobbling the planet as it spins on its axis ...

OOOOO! Scary!

This calculation predicts that the earthquake should have shortened the length of the day by about 2.7 microseconds, and caused the Earth to wobble by about another 1 inch."

That's it.
That's all?

I've been reading other bloggers who've been latching on to this "wobble change" as some kind of dangerous portent of bad things-a-coming. Nothing like vacuous minds joining the stampede of stupidity...

Repent, Sinner!

Junk science in the hands of the terminally hyperbolic can be dangerous to your intelligence.

People, this was a front page article in the National Post. That is, the newspaper that canned Colby Cosh and kept the Daughter of Frankenstein as a regular columnist. Bye bye National Post. Nice knowin' ya.

Read the whole thing.
